Ideas of softwares for Oil and Gas industry

Hi from Ecuador,
I love developing software related to the oil and gas industry. As a petroleum engineer, I have created some applications related to gamma rays (GR), Darcy's law, and more. It's fun! I came here to ask for ideas—just for fun, of course. I've been unemployed for a while, so this helps me train my software development skills.
Please give me some advice and ideas. If it's challenging, that can be even more interesting. I'll share the results with the person who provides the idea.
