IDEAS9 INSTALLATION DRIVER ERROR

I need some help with this one. I have a fresh installation that will not fire up, and stops with an error. it is a "VMI Diagnostics error" stating the the graphics driver file "libogl_ids.dll" cannot be found. The file is there and in the correct location. I thought it might br corrupt, so I replaced it with a known good one, but same error occurs. I can duplicate the error by deleting the file in my current working seat. I have went as for as completely starting over from a formated hardrive. I am at a mind-melting point with this problem !!! Can SOMEONE HELP !

By the way, I left out a few details.

Windows 2K, sp3. Both computers are Intellistaion Z-pros. Installations are exactly the same. One works, and one does not ???

Hi kge123, i have this problem before. But after i install ideas9m1 then the problem solve.

What do you mean "ideas9m1" ? I am not sure if we are on the same page, just need some clarification.

Your best bet for these types of problems is to contact the vendor. 1-800-955-0000 will get you the UGS GTAC support center. I think Ideas support uses that same number.

OK, I called EDS tech support today, they thought they could help but in the end (after a one hour call) the solution ? REINSTALL !!!. I have reinstalled ideas 4 times already. If it does not work I should call them back tomorrow !!
I decided to try something different so I installed windows NT4.0 with service pack 4. After many hours hunting for every driver under the freakin sun, I am left with the SAME PROBLEM !!. I am at the severe breaking point with this, can ANYONE help me any further ???

What version of Ideas are you trying to install?

Call EDS back. You pay big bucks for support, use it!

Load the latest graphics drivers for your card.
