It does not appear from my research that Nordstrom ever manufactured small, 1/2" threaded lubricated plug valves. I am thinking it is a company that used to exist but has since been purchased by another company after the above valve was manufactured.

Seems like a very old valve. It is not mandatory for valve manufacturer to put all of its portfolio into their website, and digitalization only begin effectively for public consumption started in early 2000.
For the last 25++ years, there were so many manufacturers acquired by 'bigger' companies and some product have been removed ever since (sometimes even look like it never exist).
It is quite normal for bigger valve (read: bigger space to print the brand) to incorporate full brand name. For instance "Malbranque". But for some relatively smaller body, I often see "M" on the body. Same logic for other brand as well.
I don't know what you're looking for based on the information. Old lubricated (before 1990s) Plug valves usually Audco, Nordstrom and some others.
Standard plug valve have bore circa 70% area of its full bore, and this applies for most brands.
Suggest to replace with similar design yet in new brand or product rather than try to fix or engineer what you have at the moment. It would be cheaper.
