Hey All,

Is there a way to take points, in 3D, and output them and their ijk's to a DES file?
I know, in order to get the vector, of a point. I need to create lines, at those points. I'm assuming this is how I'd get the
IJK's. (Can't think of another way to do it.)But, after that I'm at a loss. This isn't something I'd, normally, do. Was just asked
if this is possible.

Thanks,

SLeske

Hi itsmyjob,
Just for clarity is this a co ordinates macro or a vector macro?

this is a coordinate macro but... does it matter?

I recall using a macro from Diamler Chrysler years ago. It was actually two macros. The first one created the lines normal to the surface and the second one generated an excel file that contained the point name with the xyz coordinates and the ijk vectors.
