I posted this in the structural forum a few days ago and since learned the real scenario. the project is for a priVate uniVersity. the SE did use his IL stamp on the connection designs (specs called for a licensed se to stamp them). It has since been learned that his IL stamp was not-renewed- (expired)- and he still put an expiration date on the connection designs of 11/30/08 but his license expired 11/30/06.
he does hae stamps in other states but he used his IL stamp on the connection design.
Isn't it illegal to stamp drawings when you are not licensed? Shouldn't he be reported?
