Hay guys I have a question.

I am inserting images into a drawing file and after I complete the insert I get a box that has the filename on it. I do the print preview as well as print and I get the same thing.

Tried refresh, Force Rebiuld, Save and Close, Shut Down and Restart SW.

Insertion Method: Insert>Object>Create from File>Browse>
"Link" and "Display as Icon" checkboxes are Unchecked. Files are JPG files.

Any ideas? I'm going to try converting them into something else and see if that helps.

OK bmp worked. PNG, GIF and JPG no good.

Open the image in an image viewer (XnView, Paint, IrfanView or similar) and then copy and paste from there.

Most people seem to have no problem at all inserting images the "SW" way. I have never been able to on three different systems. Rockguy enlightened me about "copy-from-image-viewer" method and is the only one that has worked for me for all image types.

I tried the copy-and-paste method from paint today and everything looks fine until I close and reopen the saved drawing. Then the image doesn't show up.

If I insert > object > from file and choose the BMP, things work as expected.
