We are dealing with a 600 HP, 900 rpm, 4000 volt motor presumably made by US Motors in the late 1960s/early 70s. Enclosure ~ WPII. The name plate does not even have a space for Service factor. The rpm is listed as 900, so does not reflect slip at full load. The name plate does not look like a factory original piece, and has a supplier/rebuilder's name most prominantly displayed.
Is there a service factor implied on motors this size and type of this age?
thanks
