Import Geometry - Too many parts

Hello all,

I want to ask you if it is possible to import in workbench/spaceclaim an assembly (created in solidworks) that will not have every surface as a separate one.

I would like this, because it makes it difficult for the mesher later on but also for being able to manage the model in an efficient way.

Please let me know if there is a way to unify the surfaces as one body in ANSYS Workbench mechanical.

Yes, you could try to unite all bodies/parts in DM (design modeler).
