Import initial velocity from previous analysis

is there a way to import the initial velocity field from the output of a previous analysis in Abaqus Explicit?

Are you asking how to import velocity output data from one explicit analysis into the initial step of a new explicit analysis? Or have I misunderstood your question?

Have you tried copying your original model to a new model and assigning an initial state predefined field (based upon the output from your original model) in the copied model?
