I'm trying to import a sketch in a part. Unfortunately this import is on a 90° angle with the original part. Now, in NX3 I could use transform to rotate it. It would ask to transform parents too, I would select OK and that was it.

But in NX6 Ctrl-T does not have this rotate feature anymore. And the Move Object command in the Edit Menu seems to work, but when I click OK it says it can not do it and then reverts to the pre-state.

I'm using NX over 3 years now, but it can be such a time waster on those simple things. You'll never seem to be able to learn something and then do it faster the next time, as with normal things in life.

use the search on this forum ... this was discussed allready

Use NX 6.0 Move Object. Just go to the Settings section and toggle ON 'Move Parents' and toggle OFF 'Associative' and you will get exactly what you got using NX 3.0 Transform.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Another option would be to rotate the CSYS in the source part file first, then export the sketch to a new part.
