Importation of x,y,z points in to NX 1

Is it possible to read in a text file containing x,y,z coordinates of a part into the NX6? Thanks.

Yes, but "it depends" on what you want to do with the file.

1. If you want to create a spline from the points, then there is a direct way to do this: Insert > Cureve from Curves > Spline, then pick "Through Points" and select your data file (it must be formatted correctly).

2. If you want your file to result in individual Point features, then this is not so pre-packaged for you, although there is a GRIP routine that can do this for you.

3. There are also other alternatives, but perhaps you can describe what it is you want to do with the coordinates after you import them to NX?
 
The points represent x,y,z coordinates of several NACA airfoil sections. I like to create sectional profiles once these points are imported into NX. Of course I do not want to pass the points thru single spline.
