Importing airfoil data, making a curve, and manipulating curve?

Using the following tutorial and the macros that came with CATIA, I was able to import airfoil data points into CATIA from which I created a curve in a sketch. How can I manipulate the curve and scale it.

For example, while preserving the shape, I want to be able to rotate the curve and scale it. However, I can't seem to do that since the curve is fixed to the imported coordinate points. Any tips?

One thing I'm trying to do is to create a new axis system where I want the airfoil tip to start at. However, the macro doesn't recognize or allow me to select another axis system to generate the coordinates from.

Hi,
Try extracting the curve and then try rotate and scaling it.

Thanks. I've got that working and am using the Translate and Scale tools in the Wireframe workbench. But how do I scale the airfoil to a specific dimension? I want to scale the airfoil up to a specified chord length but the "scale" tool is very imprecise and only allows me to scale based on a scaling value not a dimension.

why dont you scale the point in excel ?

Hi,
For scaling to a specific dimension, you can divide the final dimension by initial dimension to get the ratio.

Yeah. Now I'm just putting the airfoil coordinates in Excel, scaling everything as needed there, then using a Macro to import the points.
