Importing dxf files

hi,
When I try to import a dxf file into UG 17, I get a message that says "scaling from mm to inch".
My drawings are in mm and I would like UG to import it in mm.
This face the same problem when i try to import it into a new or a work part.
I havent tried importing dxf into 18 or NX.
Please help me out.

In v18+ you have to Edit>Settings and select mm.

Make sure the part your importing into was created with mm as the default unit of measure. Then do your import.

1.Create a new part file with the required units(mm).
2.Now import the file into the created file ,
