Hi again!
I have some problem importing .igs drawings into i-deas. Im getting an error saying that no spaces are allowed in the file name even thought there aren't any. Any clues?

If the part is on your desktop then it resides in DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS/DESKTOP folder whjich definately has spaces.
put your item right on the c:\ drive and you will be all set

Thanks for the tip! It was pretty obvious when you know where to look ;).

Cheers!

Just for everyones' information, there is also a character limit when one is importing or exporting files.

So it is best to export data from folders which have short names. It is therefore to have the path including the filename to be as short as possible.
