In my latest version of NX it takes

In my latest version of NX it takes unusual long time to save even simple part and assembly files. How to solve this issue? Any kind of help would be appreciated.

It will take a longer amount of time to save the first time the file is saved in the new version NX, but the save after that you should see an improvement.
Let us know if that is not the situation here.

It takes same time to save everytime. Even if i don't do any modification to existing assembly file and tried to save file again it also takes long time. Previously I though that size of file might be big but it happens even in small size file too.

What version of NX are you on?
Are you on Teamcenter?

It's NX 2212 version

Does that mean a newly installed version?

Possibly part of that installation included a reference to a non-existent directory that Windows has decided is the most important directory in the world and will wait a long time until it finally times out.

Look at the Task Manager starting just before the slow save. If everything about NX drops to 0% CPU after some initial spike it's probably waiting for an event that will never happen.
