I encountered this error during simulation of steady state thermal analysis of an engine block, but I don't understand what it means.
/COM,ANSYS RELEASE 15.0 UP20131014 09:11:57 01/05/2016
*** WARNING *** CP = 2.703 TIME= 09:11:59
Element shape checking is currently inactive. Issue SHPP,ON or
SHPP,WARN to reactivate, if desired.
*** WARNING *** CP = 2.984 TIME= 09:11:59
Material number 2 (used by element 32920 ) should normally have at
least one MP or one TB type command associated with it. Output of
energy by material may not be available.
*** ERROR *** CP = 8.750 TIME= 09:12:04
A large negative pivot value ( -2491975.84 ) has been encountered in
the global assembled matrix. This may be caused by a bad
temperature-dependent material property used in the model.
