Anyone have a good argument for not sprinkling a building that has an indoor pool, and say associated dressing rooms, and equipment rooms????? any nfpa section that may apply??

I know the IBC does not require it till you hit certain sq footage, just looking at nfpa

Well, there is the possibility of corrosion from the chlorine vapor.

The swimming pool use would be considered an Assembly building, probably A-3, and if the IBC/local building code does not require sprinklers in that building, at the particular square footage, and you are not trading anything else off for sprinkler protection, then you do not need them. Otherwise, they need to be installed throughout. The swimming pool full of water has no impact on the sprinkler decision.
