I would like to set up a user group interested in discussing etc the above topic. Invitations are to academic researchers and industry practitioners of Industrial Gas Turbine Blade Infrared Pyrometry. Topics etc will develop as we increase the user group. I am involved in development of and practical use of the subject and can discuss most aspects of IR pyrometry and look forward to exchanging views and new ideas.

i have a little trouble with your pyrometry term, can you tell me what is pyrometry all about?

we use pyrometry to measure the turbine blade surface temperature by measuring the infrared wavelength emmitted from the blade surface and building a full temperature map of the whole blade for analysis. This is conducted at full speed and full load.
