Is there a government document somewhere that states what types of items are industry exempt? What does and does not require a PE stamp?

This link will take you to FAQ's about PE licenses for each state. It is very informative.

You would be surprised how many states don't offer much of an Industrial Exemption if at all. You would also be surprised at the # of companies breaking the law in many states by not being registered.

Thanks, Golf.

As many times as I reviewed the NCEES site and the NSPE site, I could never find information like that. Now I need to get myself a copy of the complete Practice Act.

Here is a Professional Engineers Act from the Republic of California:
For other state's regulations, try going to each state's licensing board website from links in the NCEES site and search around for Practice Acts.
