Hi all,
Can anyone provide some resources for the inelastic analysis referred to in AASHTO for steel post and beam railings?
AASHTO 13.3.2 has the attached equations, and I can't figure out how these were derived.
I understands the basics of inelastic analysis, but using a UDL over a partial range of the beam while using inelastic analysis has my head spinning.
