Hi,
I'm trying to analyse an object which is dropped into water.
My model is run as General Static, the material is linear elastic. The effect of hitting the water is modelled as Pressure that varies based on the Amplitude-option, accelerations are also applied.
When running linear geometry my boundary condition, Inertia Relief, works as it should. But due to relatively large deformations I need to run the model with non-linear geometry.
But when applying non-linear geometry the solver goes into singularity errors.

It seems to me that I need to constrain the model in some way.

Any thoughts or experience on the use of Inertia Relief for a case like this?
