i found spec hydrostatic test for column/pressure vessel mentioned that the water hydro test shall be mixed with inhibitor.

the water shall have a maximum chloride content of 30ppm and shall in addition contain an inhibitor, the inhibitor shall be constituted of 3 ppm of sodium nitrate (Na N03) per ppm of chloride in water, and of 12 ppm of oxygen scavenger per ppm of oxygen in water.

Please inform the product recommendation of NaNO3 and oxygen scavenger or give me solution for it.

regards,
KRN

how to get product data sheet of hydrazine?

and how about NaNo3? do you have recommendation?

Sodium nitrite is also an oxygen scavenger, and it converts to sodium nitrate as it reacts with oxygen. Somewhat safer to handle than hydrazine also.

"Somewhat safer to handle than hydrazine also"

. . just like vinegar is somewhat safer than Hydrofluoric acid. Are you British perhaps, btrueblood?
