What is your practice/recommendations regarding the first inspection after Initial commissioning of a new unit/refinery.
After how many months/years of initial commissioning.

Dear mka4281,

Check with the EPC contractor / licensor. There is a warranty inspection after 6 months / 1 year of commissioning.

Anyway, the first inspection is very important as it would provide the baseline corrosion data for all static equipment.

What you mean to say is 'first inspections'. Many first inspections.

If you build a new refinery or new unit or even put a new equipment in your unit, you need to set a plan for your first inspection of this refinery/unit/equipment. After how many months/years in-service you have to inspect it. This is very important to reveal any deficiencies in the design , manufacturing , installation ….etc.
