Hey there... I am having an issue displaying survey points (from my .fwd) file correctly. After loading my .fwd file, going to Survey -> View Survey Data -> and writing my Planimetrics, Symbols, and Names, everything displays correctly except the snap point. A "+" symbol is being used to display my points, but the actual snap point of the point is offset from the graphical center of the "+" symbol. Please let me know if anyone has any experience w/ this problem. Thanks.

I am using InRoads V08.09.03.06

Hi reimond,
This comes up a lot in training, don't worry everything is okay. It is the font justification of the + character. I would recommend using a Capital letter X for your point symbol instead of the plus sign.

To change the symbol go to Tools > Survey Options
Click on Symbology Tab
Then identify Text Point Symbols. The Point Text Symbol field will become unlocked.
Enter the Capital X in the field.
Click the OK button or save a new preference.

Thanks for the info... I found that if you play around w/ the width of the "X" character, you can emulate a "+." I just thought it was kind of annoying not being able to use a cell as a spot shot.
