Inserting an assembly's view in a draft

I have done all views of a part in draft mode; the last view would be a view which shows a simple assembly of the part with a screw in it. I made the assembly's model, and added it's view to the original part's draft (Base view -> Select part). The problem is, the coordinate system of the asm is visible and cannot be hidden. It's visible also on print.

Is there a way to hide it, or a workaround?

A few questions first:
what version of NX are you in ?
Are you working in "master model" ?
It looks to me like you have a "saved cycs" there. Do you know if that is in the drawing file, or model file ? (if working in "master model")

Thanks, I'm using NX6 and I'm quite new to this. How to know whether I1'm working in master model? I just simply modeled the part, then used the File -> New.. command to create a drawing file for the model. Then made the assembly as a new file and returned to the original part's drawing, then inserted the view from the assembly.
As far as I know, I haven't saved any CSYS.

On the attached picture is the assembly with the part in purple, and the screw-thingy in gray. The csys is also there.

You are right, that is not a "saved csys" just a "datum csys", but no big deal.
It sounds to be like you are using "master model", and that's good.
Do you know how to work with "reference sets"?

You should also be able to 'Hide' the CSYS Datum from within the Drawing.

John: The csys cannot be selected, only in expanded member view. I was able to hide the axises there, but the view is still having the csys (also visible on print) as seen on the attachement.

Jerry: I have done simplified referenced sets before, could you tell me how to use this method in this example? Thanks in advance!

When you try to hide the datum csys, change your filter settings to "datums"; then you should be able to select the datum csys even if it is owned by one of the components. If it is owned by one of the components, you should look at using reference sets to filter it out (as suggested earlier by jerry).

With the use of the filters, I managed at last to hide the unwanted items.

You can also use the 'Show and Hide...' function while allows you to edit the visibility of objects based on 'class' such as Hiding ALL 'Datums' or ALL 'Points' whether they are technically selectable or not.
