Installed Cost of a Steam Plant

I am looking for rules of thumb for the installation cost of a steam plant. Things like cost per MLB or BHP or BTU/HR input. The purpose is to use in rough estimates of installation cost when preparing projects. Can anyone help?

Without providing much more definitive information, you cannot expect any meaningful answer.

Valuable advice from a professor many years ago: First, design for graceful failure. Everything we build will eventually fail, so we must strive to avoid injuries or secondary damage when that failure occurs. Only then can practicality and economics be properly considered.
