Hi guys,
I have a problem with analyzing in Abaqus. I want to put two already analyzed (deformed and with residual stresses) plates into one unanalyzed U-Part like the following picture.
The little yellow circles are the tie constrains between the deformed plates and the U-Part. I imported the plates as deformed parts from a previous Abaqus analysis. In this previous analysis, the plates also got residual stresses. I import those with Initial State - Predefined Fields as shown in the next picture.
At the end I give Boundary Conditions and Forces like in the next picture.
Then I analyze the whole thing and Abaqus completes the job without errors. But when I look at the results I get this:
The first plate is analyzed correctly, but the second plate just dissapears.
Does anybody know why the second plate dissapears and how to fix it?
Thanks guys!
