Integrated Stepper Motors

Hello Members,

I am currently spec. framing a 24-axis stepper motor control application, for one clients...traditionally, we have used stand alone stepper drives and separate motors.

I've been reading/hearing quite a bit of information regarding integrated stepper motor and stepper drive units...I am curious if anybody has experienced success/failure with these relatively new packages.

For reference sake, I am considering the AMCI SMD23, a size 23 integrated stepper motor drive.
