Hi,

I created a component & created a part family table in it. This component design intent is to drive an upper level component, in which a few more features will be added onto it.

Is it possible to have inter-part expressions or links between part family tables that are in two different UG files?

I'm trying to avoid having two duplicate tables to control

Thanks

There should be no problem using any Expression in a Family Table part as an interpart expression to drive some value in another part file. However, you will find it difficult (actually impossible) to drive any Expression value INSIDE a file created from a Family Table since once created, you can NOT edit them since they are READ-ONLY (and note that this is set INSIDE the part file at the NX level not the OS so the user can NOT change it).
