Intro to Seismic Loading 1

I practice in the high wind part of the country. So, not many engineers worry about seismic loading. However, we are finding that the new IBC provisions will govern over wind for certain structures, as crazy as it seems.

Anyways, I could use a good introduction to seismic loading. Has anyone come across a good publication or webinar that goes over the basics?

I have a Lindeburg/Baradar "Seismic Design of Building Structures"...(not sure if it is the same book mentioned by others), but it is an excellent resource on learning and applying Seismic design. Very readable, focused on teaching, not impressing.

Also, as strange as it may sound, "Design of Wood Structures" by Breyer, Fridley, Cobeen and Pollock is another reference I use in regards to lateral design with rigid diaphrams. Their examples on diaphragm analysis are the best I have seen in any text book hands down.

And last but not least, the IBC 2009 and ASCE7 which make a lot more sense when used in combo with the Lindeburg book.
