In order to show an exploded assembly in drafting, an ".ipt" presentation file must be created. From what I see, Inventor does not have the ability to define different assembly configs within the assembly itself (like Solidworks can so easily). I understand that Inventor can define different "level of detail", but this only switches between different states of suppression.... it is not an assembly configuration. Assembly configs are a great design tool and has been standard in cad programs for a long time. Please tell me that Inventor is not this primitive.
