IP68 Fans

I am preparing to specify some fans that comply with IP68. I have found some videos on YouTube of people testing IP68 compliant fans. The linked specification sheet shows a fan with approximately the same fan curves and power consumption as a non-IP68 fan. I would expect the power consumption to be higher as the fan motor overcomes the IP68 capable shaft seals.

Has anyone used or abused one of these things? How confident can I be about something like this?
