Is any way to apply uniform mass (inertia) only on one edge of a shell?

Hi,
I am trying to apply the mass only on one edge of a shell but the option "Mass per length" is not applicable to the shell edge. Do you know any trick for that? Thanks in advance.

You can create a point mass and connect it with shell's edge via kinematic coupling or rigid body constraint. Or use nonstructural mass feature.

Thanks for your reply. Actually, the first method is not efficient for me because of the number of shells that I have in my model and defining many of the point masses and kinematic couplings is difficult. But about the nonstructural mass do you think it is applicable to the edge of a shell. I tried it but it can be assigned as area mass for shell and line mass for beam element only.

How about line loads. Is it possible to assign line load in the intersection edge between two shells? When I tried I got an error that shell edge must be a free edge.
