Hello experts,

Is it possible to:

- Change pathfinder font? This letters are to small! (not increase option 2X buttons)
- Assy relations: Add concentricity constrain but already blocked?
- Overally speed up solid edge but not by tool options? I.e. give program more RAM memory to meneage.

If I will recall more questions I will put them here...

Thanks a lot!

1. There is a Windows setting to increase font and icon sizes - try that
2. If you can't add a concentricity (I assume you mean axial align) then you have other constraints preventing it. You will need to remove those before applying the concentricity.
3. The speed Solid Edge runs at will depend on your computer (and network). It will take as much ram as it needs up to your system limit. The only way to get it to use more ram is to install more in your computer.
If you are running a 32 bit system you might need the "3GB switch" enabling.

By the way, these are not specifically solid edge problems - they apply to almost all programs.

Hello,
Thank you for your answer!
1. OK. I thought its possible to increase pathfinder font in solid edge.
2. I can add concentricity but I would like to add already with blocked rotation not unblocked...
3. I have 64bit. I thought maybe I can increase RAM manually somewhere in options.

4. Is it posible to add many different tables for many sheets?
I.e. I have 1st sheet with welded assy and table for this assy. On the 2nd sheet I have only few elements of this assy and I would like to have another automated table only for these elements.

Thanks a lot!

#1: I am not sure WHAT exactly you want to make bigger, but there are many different layout options in ST6. Right-click on the ribbon, and go to Themes, and experiment with different layouts available there.

#2: As far as I know, locking axial rotation is always a second step.

#4: I assume you mean Parts Lists, or Bill Of Material tables. There are many, many options for generating these lists. After placing a table, right-click and choose properties, and go to List Control. The easiest way to manage this is to probably hide the parts you do not want to see, and then uncheck the box for "Exclude parts hidden in all drawing views" on the lower right.

#2 - do you mean you want to lock an axial constraint that is presently unlocked?
To do that, click on the part and you will see a list of constraints in the pathfinder.
Select the constraint you want to lock from the list.
You should see a small box appear on screen with a padlock in unlocked and locked positions - just click the locked one.

#4 - I would not recommend generating different parts lists from the same model - unless you are using families of assemblies.
You will get into a real mess eventually.
If the parts lists are different then you should use different assemblies.
