Because I do not want to waste any time on installation just to discover new bugs (which would not be a big surprise considering the past).

Thanks in advance for any replies

It can be improved, but is better than SP0.0 and SP0.1.

Has anyone had any issues with intstalling it? I downloaded it, turned off all virus software, installed it...

When I tried to run it, the SW screen comes up and just before it lets you access the menus, it gives an error that says "[invalid installation contact reseller]" and closes down.

I did a complete uninstall, tried again with the same results, then uninstalled and went back to SP 0.1

It's a shame because it appears that 1.1 fixes a lot of issues I am seeing in 0.1...

m60gunner,
I think you have a reg code or serial number conflict going on. I would contact your reseller.

I just install SW2005 SP 1.1 this past Monday and had no problems. This install include PDMWorks2005.

I did not have any problems installing and found that some models that had problems with configurations behaved alot better.

m60gunner, 0.1 runs OK? But not 1.1? Try updating to WinXP SP2.0, then SW SP1.1. See if that helps.
