I've rerouted an existing fire loop around a new building on a manufacturing plant site. The owner wants a PIV at every valve location. These are surrounded by 4 bollards. The 2 valves I need to make the connection to existing fire main are in very awkward locations to have an above ground PIV with 4 bollards around them. Is there such thing as a PIV that is flush with the ground? (It must also be FM approved)

Don't think a valve can be called a PIV if it is not above ground.

Try to reroute your piping to accomodate your layout.

Thanks, guys. I did find one that is flush. But it wasn't FM approved. So, I rerouted a little, so that I could group 3 together. Then put bollards around the group.
