Is there a wire feedthrough/bulkhead connector that allows the wire to be squeezed into the vessel?

In case I'd like to design a pressure vessel that allows me to introduce a wire or 1.2 mm diameter in a continuous way. Is there a wire feedthrough/bulkhead connector that allows the wire to be squeezed into the vessel? Pressure 250 bar, temperature 100 C. Thanks!!!

sleone15, here is one brand, Conax, I'm sure there are others...

Of course the wire itself will have to be pressure tight.

Mike

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

Typically one uses a sealed feed-through that is soldered to the wire on each side. This is because the adhesion of the wire to the jacket is not pressure tight; this is even worse if the wire is stranded as leakage in the gaps between the strands will certainly happen - which is how water entered my electrical box from the outside connection.

Have a look for the glands that are used for feeding wire down wells. Oil & Gas and geothermal wells are logged with wellheads under high pressure.

As 3DDave said, with wire pass through you will get leakage through the wire with higher pressures. Agreed the soldered terminals (hermetic seals) would be the way to go, check out Pave Technology.

Many thanks for your replies and advice!!
