Hello guys,
I need your help in order to clarify the scope ANNEX B where are defined the different classes of machinery and the boundary vibration limits.
Class II: medium sized machines 15 kW < P < 300 kW
Class III: large sized machines 300 kW < P < 50 MW
I would like to know if the considered power (P) is referred to the installed power (for example the nominal power of the electric motor installed in a skid motor + centrifugal pump) or instead of that, the rated power of the driven machine (f.e. power consumption in the rated point of a centrifugal pump) which is of course less power than the installed one.
I have some new machines in the plant which are in one class or another depending on the considered power and we have to deal with the manufacturer which limits apply in each case.
Thank you so much in advnce for your kind help,
Marc
