Is there an ISO equivalent to ASME Y14.100 Para 4.27 (Notes on Drawings)? Just need to determine if it is acceptable to have more than one set of general notes? I know that it's not allowed IAW ASME, but I'm not familiar enough with ISO practices.

What exactly you mean by "more than one set of general notes"?

2 sets of notes to contradict each other on face of the same drawing?

ISO today is not very fond of text notes, aiming at system of symbols that will cover all you needs without using any particular language.

I am not sure how long it is going to take, but until it happened, I believe you can arrange your notes any way that works for you.
