Is there any standard designation of annotation for optional machining. Like if you can do machining vertical or horizontal and it will leave different tool radius on edge of machined surface. So that radius can be small as it will be mill cutter cutting edge radius (if any) or big if it is mill cutter main radius. In both situations it will be just "left over" from milling it, in X or in Y direction. How to explain this on drawing that is not internal, but have to be delivered to supplier.

Just put the range of acceptable radii on the drawing.

I would use MAX or MIN depending on your requirements instead of a Limit Dim.

Have you read faq731-376 to make the best use of these Forums?

According to the number of parts to fabricate, the machine shop will use the tolerance indicated in your drawing in order to determine what method will be more economic or convenient.
As others have advised, simply specify a max/min radius.

Can somebody tell me what is the ISO standard that explain how to use MAX and MIN?
