Hello all,
We are having problems with a carbon-steel M3x16 self-tapping screw, which fails under voltage pulse test (25 kilo-Volts).
It is a self tapping screw for plastics, and when under test, voltage passes through it into the system.
I'm looking for a solution, in the form of an isolated type of self-tapping screw (maybe other material), if exists,
or
ways to isolate this screw.
Any other suggestion(s) on how to avoid this problem will be appreciated.
recommendations?
Thanks in advance,
Eran.
