I have a basic assemble made from about 12 part files. I would like to dimension it to show it off as a prototype, but I am not sure how since my extension lines take on some odd angles. Can someone clarify this process?
It's been awhile since that thread referenced by jerry (that was in response to someone using NX 6.0) was written, but the recommended workflow is still to use PMI for something like this. And along those lines, we've made, and continue to make, significant investments in PMI as more and more people are looking to moving away from fully dimensioned, multi-view drawings, to where they're documenting the model itself. For more information on both what Siemens PLM offers in this are as well as a general discussion of the benefits of PMI, check-out the documents that I've attached to this post.

I do have the PMI option and when I add dimension using it I get some strange results I suppose I have some incorrect settings? Any advice on how to fix this? (see attached png file)
