We got our laser repaired recently and now all my etching has gone to pot. IVe tried all the adjustments i know. Duty, Freq, Power, Feed etc. Im running a 4000w Amada fo3015. Does anyone else here have etching conditions they can post. we mostly cut GNL and P&O steel. thanks

try to find laserdog. He runs Amada's and is a wiz at them. He could help you out.

This is laserdog I change my name to jjl1210. We have a part that needs a deep etch and I run it on an older 3015 and I use a feed of 80 1100W 500F and 30D with a nozzle gap of .05. You can start with this and change the feed rate until it's hard to see the etch when this happens I would increase the duty and freq by 10% until the etch comes back.
