Jaquet overspeed unit

I want to simulate a speed signal using a signal generator on a Jaquet overspeed unit.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

Please can you advise.

I often test protec overspeed units with no problems, yet i am finding this Jaquet unit ever so difficult.
