JAR 25 ?

hi guys,

i'm looking for a copy of JAR 25 change 11 (for an A320). I've been around the houses with EASA and JAA ... the EASA site points to dead links (!?) ... the EASA help desk says "not our spec, go to IHS" ... IHS has only a few hits for "JAR25" and nothing specifally "change 11" ...

I've got a copy of chnage 13 which might be near enough for my purposes.

any help would be appreciated.

Follow this link and look for Certification Specifications 25 on the page. I think it is what you are looking for, as I believe the JAR were converted to CS. However, be wary as I am not an expert in this area so investigate thoroughly. I did notice the historical amendments appear to be here as well, including amendment 11 if I am correct that the CS replaced the JAR.

You may at first think the links are broken, but the links to the explanatory notes and change information links work. On the other hand I have been waiting nearly ten minutes for the actual regulation and I am still waiting........so I confess it is possible the actual regulation links ARE broken. But silly optimist that I am, I keep hoping to eventually get the actual regulation. )

It took almost 15 minutes to download 866 pages, but it did fianlly work for CS 25. What I don't know is if CS 25 Amdt 11 is the same as JAR 25 Amdt 11. However, I did find a clear statement in the initial CS publication notice that said the JAR were transposed into the CS, so at least I know the historical path. I hope something in these posts helped you.

thx for trying. i suspect that EASA's CS25 change nil is something like JAA's JAR25 change 20 but i'll look into it further.

I have downloaded change 13, which includes a list of all the changes, so i know roughly what was changed but not how (there's not "was" "is").

I was surprised that the download included all the AC material ... how helpful !
