hi friends i neeed your help

currently I am working on a new project (LAB) and i neeed your advise
whether we really need a nitrogen blanket on the JET A1 storage tank to avoid poisoning from downstream catalytic reactions

IMO yes, otherwise you oxidize the aromatics and you have gumm formation.

JetA1 should have no chance of coming into contact with anything downstream except filters, fuel trucks, more filters and aircraft. What are you trying to do with it?

hydrotreatment to remove sulfur and nitrogen then pre-fractionation to remove cut c10 to c13
