Joining 2 pieces of Nickel Plated Stainless Steel together

I have two parts... a magnet and a threaded base. They are both Nickel Plated Stainless Steel. I would like to connect them together.

What would the best method be?
Glue? Solder?

By the way I am not an engineer I'm just asking the professionals.

solder would be my vote,

Try a super glue, i dont know what kind of stressess it will endure though.

What is the maximum temperature the magnet can withstand before being damaged / losing magnetic properties? If the magnet can withstand heat then a silver solder or braze may be an option. An epoxy optimised for nickel - an awkward metal to bond IIRC - might be an option too.

We would need to know the type of nickel plating used on these components. If you used sulfamate or electroless nickel, soldering would be the best way to go.
