Hi,

I am working on 1050mm PVC primary water main which has two 90 degree bends immediately upstream of an arterial road crossing. We are proposing a steel casing @ this crossing with end caped. Section and or whole carrie pipe in the casing need to be restarined. I need to find out what steel casing would be required for this. The OD of restraint joints for 1050mm pipe would be 54.12" (1375mm). What size of spacers would be required and if there is any technical specs which could be refrenced? I am proposing spacers at mid span of carrier pipe.

Thanks,

The casing is generally going to be 457 millimeter larger than the carrier pipe. You are looking at a 1500 mm casing.

Thanks bimr,
I am proposing 1500mm casing but I was wandering if there is any specific spacer sizes we could proposed because we need some clearance between the spacers and casing ID.

Thanks,
