Hi, does somebody have a recommendation for a journal in the area of systems and control where its possible to submit small communications or notes on theoretic methods? That is, not fully developed theoretic contributions.

I‘m talking of course about a valuable contribution. In my case I consider a kind of novel formulation of a theoretic method in the field of automatic control which could be of interest for other engineers or researchers. I also have solid practical results for an application example. I think for a full paper, lets say 8 or even more pages, it is too little if don‘t repeat all basics in the paper. When looking at IEEE Transactions from the 60s or 70s it seems quite common to publish papers with 1 to 3 pages, reporting only an aspect of a class of methods. Thus, I‘m intersted if someone knows a journal where smaller contributions are common.
