I'm using Update for external change to force updates to these functions.
I've got a few Knowledge fusion commands embedded into my templates.
They extract the file name of each part and break it down into part numbers that are pushed to attributes used in the parts list.
The naming scheme we use allows for logical breakdown and reporting.
Update for External Change is a heavy command that plows every feature. It can take a long time to roll thru a large assembly.
Are there any other light weight options for this with a VB Journal???
